Celebrate The Lasting Legacy of Geneva College Athletes
Fall of 2020
The Legacy Hall of Fame Class will be the 5th class of the Geneva College Hall of Fame and consist of student-athletes that competed 50+ years ago (pre-1970). This group will truly represent the foundation of Geneva College athletics as each of these inductees left a lasting legacy from their time on College Hill. In addition to this class, each year the Legacy Committee (below) will nominate 3-5 pre-1970 athletes, coaches, or contributors to be inducted with the annual hall of fame class. Â
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are working to find the safest way to recognize the Legacy Class of 2020.Â

About Geneva Athletics
Established in 1890, the Geneva Athletics program has had a tradition of excellence for over 125 years. We are the birthplace of college basketball, the college of the only person to enter both the baseball and football halls of fame, and home to one of the oldest sports venues in Pennsylvania in Reeves Field. We are proud of our history and who we have become. We are excited about the future of Geneva Athletics.Â
Â
The Athletics program is woven into the fabric of Geneva College. Our view of sports is not solely competitive, but co-curricular and developmental as well. We’re not only teaching skills and teamwork, but teaching student-athletes about who God is, who they are in Christ, who they are to each other, and how they can flourish in life—in and after college. With the legacy of Geneva College Athletics, it is our plan to celebrate it in the spring of 2020 with a Legacy Celebration. Â
