Geneva Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

SAAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

WHAT IS SAAC???

Every NCAA Division III school is required to have a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, made up of student-athletes from every sport.  Although each school can develop its own SAAC mission statement and bylaws, a few common goals among all SAAC groups are to promote communication among student-athletes and athletic personnel; provide a student-athlete perspective on legislation; build a sense of community among athletic teams on campus; and organize community service initiatives.

Geneva SAAC Mission Statement:

“The Geneva College SAAC exists primarily for the purpose of unification, connecting student-athletes with other student-athletes; with athletic administration, both at Geneva and in the PAC; with the rest of the Geneva campus; and with the greater Beaver Falls community.  By the faithful service of servant-leaders in each sport, we will provide a positive and proactive presence in the Geneva community and beyond.”
