Anjelica Diehl

2026 marks the eighth season for Anjelica Diehl coaching Geneva College softball. She has served the program in an assistant/pitching coach role since her hiring leading up to the 2019 season, and was a member of the coaching staff when the program won the PAC Championship in 2021. Prior to and during her stint with the Golden Tornadoes, she also served as the head softball coach at her alma mater, Beaver Falls High School, from 2017-2022. Currently, she works full-time at Hopewell Area School District as a school counselor, where she has been since 2015.

Diehl has spent much of her life in Beaver County, graduating from Beaver Falls High School before attending and playing softball at Geneva from 2007-2011. She graduated from Geneva with her B.S. in Psychology and Human Services in 2011 and later obtained her M.S. in School Counseling from Slippery Rock University, graduating in 2014.

In addition to coaching and being a counselor, Diehl is also the owner of Geneva’s therapy dog, Easton. Easton is a golden retriever who comes to school with Diehl and also attends several of Geneva’s practices and games. He is the subject of a children’s book entitled Easton the Therapy Dog, which Diehl published to help kids understand a therapy dog’s role. Easton can be found listed with the coaching staff at the bottom of Geneva’s softball roster on the softball team’s webpage.

Diehl currently resides in New Brighton, PA, and loves being able to coach in her hometown.
