Liz Geyer enters her third season as leader of of the Geneva women's lacrosse program in 2027 after being hired in August 2024 to coach Geneva's inaugural women's lacrosse season in the spring of 2025. Geyer has a strong background and familiarity with the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).
In 2026, her second season with the team, she led the Geneva lacrosse program to multiple milestones, including their first program victory and their first conference victory.
Prior to Geneva, Geyer worked as an Athletic Academic Adviser at Idaho State University, where she served for two years. She also served as the Girls Lacrosse Director for the Pocatello Bandits during that timeframe. Prior to that, Geyer spent five years at Bethany College as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach where she started the Bison program. In addition to her coaching duties at Bethany, Geyer also served as an adjunct professor, teaching Sports Psychology and Exercise Physiology in the Physical Education department.
Before her time at Bethany, Geyer served as a Graduate Assistant Coach for women's lacrosse at Concordia University Chicago for two seasons while she was working on her Master's of Sports Leadership degree. She began her lacrosse coaching career in 2014 as an assistant coach at Bridgewater College in Virginia. Geyer graduated from McDaniel College in 2014 with a degree in Exercise Science, along with a minor in Coaching and Sports Management. She also played on the women's lacrosse team at McDaniel.
