Kelsey Morrison

Kelsey Morrison was hired in June 2021 to take over as the Head Women's Soccer Coach for the Golden Tornadoes, and she is entering her third season as head coach in 2023.

In her first season at the helm of Geneva Women's Soccer, the program reached PAC postseason play for the first time in the program’s 10-year NCAA Division III History, posting a 4-5 conference record. In addition, 7 women’s soccer student-athletes have received All-PAC recognition over the past two seasons.

Prior to arriving at Geneva, Morrison spent three seasons coaching at both the NCAA Division III and Division I levels. Most recently she served a season as the assistant coach at Nicholls State University where she oversaw film analysis, team logistics and assisted in daily training sessions.  Before that, she was at the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, for two years where she was the assistant before taking over as the associate head coach.  While there she helped the program break statistical records in both regular season wins and goals scored during the 2018 season.  Additionally, she worked administratively within the athletic department to handle schedules, game day management, game contracts, as well as serving as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) advisor.

A native of Western Maryland, Morrison graduated from the University of Valley Forge in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. During her four year playing career she appeared in 70 matches while receiving numerous accolades including a 3-year stint as captain and first team all-conference honors. She still holds the career goal-scoring record for the program.

She received a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership in 2019. Morrison holds several professional licenses in coaching including a “C” License from the United States Soccer Federation, a cohort member of the inaugural College Coaching Credentialing Program hosted by United Soccer Coaches including 40 soccer coaches chosen from across all NCAA Divisions (2023), USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certification, and a NCAA Women Coaches Academy graduate (2023).
