Beaver Falls, PA- Gib McCracken found the net early in the first half to leave little doubt that the Geneva men's soccer team would have it's way tonight against Thiel College. Geneva will continue into it's final week of the regular season with an overall record of 11-3-2, 5-1-1 in the President's Athletic Conference.

"Proud of the boy's effort and focus throughout tonight's match. It was good to get back in the win column tonight," said head coach Gary Dunda.

McCracken scored the game winner in the 13th minute off an assist from senior forward Abel Carleton who drove the ball across the box. Carleton made his own mark on the scoreboard a minute later for the 2-0 score off an assist by senior defender Spencer Edwards. Carleton's goal rounded out scoring for both teams in the 1st half.

Liam O'Halloran scored his 11th goal of the season in the opening minutes of the 2nd half off another assist by Edwards for the 3-0 score. O'Halloran's night was not complete as he was able to connect with senior midfielder Josh Brenize for the final 4-0 score.

With two games left in the regular season, Geneva will head to Waynesburg University on Wednesday, October 25th at 8:00 p.m. before hosting Alfred State College on Saturday, October 28th for the program's senior night.
