Titans Hand GTs First Conference Road Loss
New Wilmington, PA – The Westminster College women's soccer team handed Geneva their first conference road loss. After losing 4-0, Geneva is now 4-7 overall, 1-2 in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.
Westminster marked the scoreboard in the opening ninety seconds of play when it scored an unassisted goal. The Titans scored again in the 27
th minute. The second half looked eerily similar to the first when the Golden Tornadoes allowed back to back goals in the 60
th and 63
rd minute of play.
Geneva was outshot 27 to 14.
Dani Lincoln made 12 saves in the match.
Geneva travels to Grove City on Wednesday (Oct. 10) for a 4 p.m. kickoff hoping to secure their first road win in conference action.
