Geneva Returns to the Win Column in High Scoring Fashion
Beaver Falls, PA – The men's soccer team got back on track Saturday evening as it made quick work of the visiting Muskingum Fighting Muskies to get back into the win column. The 3-0 victory move their overall record to 5-2-1 with just one game remaining before Presidents' Athletic Conference play begins.

Junior Liam O'Halloran scored the eventual game winner in the in the 10th minute of the game after a through ball given by freshman Kevin Pasho to beat the goalkeeper on the far post. O'Halloran's night was not complete as he scored the first goal of the second half in the 53rd minute of the game. He was able to get on the end of another through ball delivered this time by sophomore David McKinley for the 2-0 score.

McKinley continued to play well throughout the rest of the night. His hard work was rewarded five minutes after his assist by netting his own goal. Freshman Chase Baxa slotted his assist across the box to the foot McKinley for the 3-0 final decision.

Luke Nolan was the goalkeeper for the Golden Tornadoes for the entirety of the match to complete his third shut-out of the season. The home squad outshot the visitors 18-3 forcing the opposing goalkeeper to make seven saves.

The Golden Tornadoes will head to the road as they travel to Allegheny on Tuesday September 26 for a 7:00 p.m. kick-off where they will look to keep the wins coming.
