Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, along with Arseneaux, earn All-Academic Honors from USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Geneva College men's and women's track and field teams, along with rising junior Kevin Arseneaux, were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) this past week for their work in the classroom.  The men's and women's program each earned the team academic award, while Arseneaux was named to the All-Academic Team.

To receive the team distinction, a program must maintain at least a 3.1 cumulative grade point average, which both the men and women achieved.  To receive individual distinction, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.3 GPA while finishing in the top 50 in NCAA Division III in an event, which Arseneaux achieved in the 1500-meter race.

Through purposeful learning in a community reflecting the full spectrum of God's kingdom, a Geneva College experience inspires students to discover a faith-life calling in service to God and neighbor. Offering 195+ traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva's programs are recognized for their high quality and affordability. Geneva was founded and is governed by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) and is a founding member of both the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and the International Association for Christian Education (IACE).
