LATROBE, Pa. --- The Geneva College women's soccer team was shutout by Saint Vincent, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon. The loss is the first for the Golden Tornadoes in Presidents' Athletics Conference record 2-1 and drops the overall record to 3-5-1.
The Golden Tornadoes were on the defensive for the majority of the game and held off Saint Vincent for over 40 minutes before the Bearcats scored its first goal of the game. Saint Vincent scored two more goals in the second half for the final score.
Geneva was able to get some offense going with
Saige Musser leading the team with three shots in the game.
The Golden Tornadoes return to action on Tuesday, October 3, against Allegheny. Game time at Reeves Field at 7 p.m.
