Football Hires Taylor as New Offensive Coordinator

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Geneva College football team has hired Tim Taylor as its new offensive coordinator, taking over for Chris Corrado who moved on after last season.

Taylor has had a long career working with the triple option attack.  He has over 30 years of coaching experience, including the last 12 years as a high school coach in Georgia.  Most recently he spent the past three seasons as the offensive coordinator for Madison County High School where his team broke Georgia high school rushing records with over 4,000 yards rushing and over 400 points during the 2023 season.

Prior to his time in the high school ranks, Taylor spent several seasons coaching offense at the NCAA Division II and III levels, including stops at Clark Atlanta University, UW-River Falls, and Colorado College.

"College teaches students how to make a living, but Geneva also teaches students the reason for living," said Taylor.  "This is the reason I want to be at Geneva."

Taylor played football collegiately at Georgia Tech before transferring to Carson-Newman College, where he was a member of the 1984 NAIA National Championship Carson-Newman squad.

"I'm really excited to have Coach Taylor join our program," said Head Coach Geno DeMarco.  "His expertise in the option attack is really going to bolster our program and have an immediate impact on our offensive success.  In addition, he's a great fit for the mission of Geneva and will have an impact on our players far beyond football."
