GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Geneva College men's tennis team couldn't keep pace with powerful Grove City on Monday afternoon, falling to the Wolverines 9-0. Geneva dropped to 6-5 overall, 3-4 in the conference.
Senior Jadon Hooke and sophomore Braiden Smalley battled in No. 1 doubles before succumbing 8-6, while Grove City took the other two doubles matches as well.
Smalley was competitive in his match in No. 1 singles before falling 6-4, 6-4.
Geneva wraps up its regular season on Friday with a match at Saint Vincent beginning at 4:00 p.m.
