GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four members of Geneva's men's track and field team were honored as Academic All-District selections on Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators organization. Graduate student Jackson Thomas, seniors Kevin Arseneaux and Timothy Ehko, and junior Seth Tyson were all honored for their excellence both in competition and in the classroom.
To be eligible to receive distinction on the all-district team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. The student-athletes must also have placed among the top 50 athletes in the regional cross country championship or finished among the top 50 competitors in the region in an event in either the indoor or outdoor track and field season.

He finished in the top 50 of the regional cross country championships, becoming the first male Geneva cross country runner to qualify for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships with his 12th place finish at the regional meet. He also finished in the top 50 in the region in the indoor 800-meter and mile races, along with the outdoor 800-meters, 1500-meters and 5000-meter races.
