BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its weekly cross country awards Tuesday afternoon, and the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes swept the men's side. Junior Matt Otto was named the PAC Runner of the Week while freshman Tyler Caron received his second consecutive PAC Newcomer of the Week award.

Otto was Geneva's top runner at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational this past weekend, placing sixth overall in the 8K race with a time of 26:28.7. That mark was the third-best of any Division III athlete competing at the meet. Through two week, Otto has established himself as one of the top runners in the PAC this season.

Caron came across not long after Otto, taking 12^th place overall and finishing in 26:48.0. He has been one of the Golden Tornadoes' key contributors through the first two meets of the season and already has two weekly awards to his name.

As a team, the men finished in third place at Dickinson, and first among Division III programs.

Otto, Caron, and the rest of the Golden Tornadoes will return to the course on Saturday, September 26, for the Youngstown State Invite.
