Geneva College Athletics

Nate Payne is beginning his first season as an assistant at Geneva.  He will be working as the defensive coordinator, primarily focused on the linebackers.  He was an inside linebacker during his playing days at Clarion University, graduating in 2015.  He began his coaching career at Aurora University in 2016, working with the defensive backs.  During his year with Aurora, they were NACC Champions and had three all-conference defensive backs.  He moved on to Adrian College in 2017, still focusing on the defensive backfield, and during his two years there, they also had three all-conference defensive backs.

Payne lives in New Brighton with his wife Lauren.
