Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator: Mike Bair
Mike Bair will be entering his eighth season as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer program. Since joining the coaching staff, Bair has helped the Golden Tornadoes to an overall record of 87-37-22, and he was a part of their run to the NCCAA National Championship tournament in 2011 and their PAC title in 2016. The NSCAA named the Geneva men’s soccer coaching staff 2016 Regional Coaching Staff of the Year for the Great Lakes Region.
Bair assists in all phases of the men’s soccer program including training the goalkeepers as well as field players, recruiting, and administrative duties. He is also an instructor in the Physical Education department at Geneva.
A 2011 graduate of Geneva, Bair is also very active in the club soccer scene in Western Pennsylvania. He is the head coach of the North United Soccer Club U14 and U17 boys teams, and he is the Director of Goalkeeping for the club as well. Mike and his wife, Meg, reside on College Hill with their four-year-old daughter Lily.
