Dave Symmonds joined the women's soccer program as an assistant prior to the 2021 season. Originally from eastern Pennsylvania, Symmonds played his club soccer years in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and later at Blackhawk High School (Chippewa), before graduating and earning an Associate degree from Pittsburgh Technical institute.  Dave fills many roles in local soccer and has been actively coaching in the Blackhawk Area Soccer Association (BASA) for several years, where he is currently the Director of Coaching and head coach for the 2011 Girls Division 4 team, while also serving as Director of Goalkeeping and staff coach for BC United.

Symmonds holds a D license from USSF and all grassroots diplomas/licenses with both USSF and United Soccer Coaches.  Additionally, he also holds a Level 3 Goalkeeping Diploma, Sports Psychology Diploma, and several special topics diplomas with United Soccer Coaches, as well as level 2 Performance Analysis accreditation with ISPAS.
