Doug Miller was named the Women's Soccer Interim Head Coach for the upcoming 2020-21 season on January 29, 2021, after previous Head Coach Linda Sumner announced she was stepping down.
The 2020-21 season is Miller's second season with the Geneva women's soccer program. He spent the 2019 season as an assistant coach, working primarily with the goalkeepers, while also providing other coaching responsibilities for recruitment, training and player development. He was a part of the men's program for the 06 and 07 seasons before beginning his coaching career.
Miller has over a decade of coaching experience including roles as a middle and high school coach, club coach, club director and GK director. Currently, Miller is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Beadling SC in Pittsburgh in addition to his role with Geneva. Miller holds the USSF National C License while also holding USC Goalkeeping Level I & Level II and Director of Coaching diplomas. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the NSCA and will be overseeing all Strength and Conditioning for the Women's Soccer program.
Miller and his wife Christy reside in New Brighton with their two children, Logan (7) and Abigail (3).
