NEW WILMINGTON, Pa – On Wednesday afternoon the Geneva College women's tennis team traveled to Westminster College to makeup a match that was originally scheduled for this past Monday, but was postponed due to rain, and the Titans proved to be too much for Geneva, winning 7-2. Westminster improved to 1-1, 1-0 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while Geneva fell to 2-2, 0-1 in the PAC.
Geneva's lone win in doubles came at the hands of junior

Bekah Locke, who won a tight match in #3 doubles, 9-8. Junior
Jana Newberry, who is the reigning PAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week, was the lone winner in singles action, winning her match in #6 singles, 7-5, 6-4.
"The third doubles match was definitely the highlight of the day," said Head Coach
Mandee Craft. "It was a back and forth battles, and Victoria and Bekah hung tight to pull out the win."
Geneva will get right back on the court when it travels to Bethany College on Friday for a 4:00 p.m. match. It is a rematch of their earlier match to start the season, which Geneva won, 7-2.
