Women’s Tennis Drops Match to Grove City

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Geneva College women's tennis team had its first match of the spring season on Wednesday, facing a familiar foe in Grove City.  The Wolverines won the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) championship in the fall, and they picked up right where they left off with a 9-0 sweep of Geneva.  Grove City is now 13-2 overall, while Geneva's record evened at 8-8.

Not much went right for the Golden Tornadoes against the talented Grove City squad.  The Wolverines swept the doubles matches, and they followed that up with convincing wins in singles action.

Geneva gets right back into action on Friday with a match at Pitt-Greensburg starting at 6:00 p.m.
