PITTSBURGH, Pa. --- The Geneva women's cross country team recorded a solid performance in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Golden Tornadoes scored 183 points with sophomore
Carmen Medvit leading the way in the 5,000-meter race. Medvit placed 19
th with a time of 19:55.7.
The rest of the squad packed well with
Madison Castro running a 20:24.9, followed by
Hailey Carroll at 20:34.0.
Jaci Mennetti ran a 20:41.5, and
Catherine O'Donnell ran 21:11.5 to round out the team scoring.
Geneva will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, October 15 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.
