Carroll and sophomore Madison Castro finished back-to-back in 34th and 35th place in times of 23:08.9 and 23:10.0, respectively. Junior Jaci Mennetti crossed the finish line one minute later in 24:04.9, followed by junior Catherine O'Donnell in 24:53.4.
"Our performance was great today," said Geneva head coach Phil Thompson. "In challenging conditions we had two runners, Carmen and Hailey, earn All-Region honors. That is a tough task to accomplish. This team has proven that it is one of the best squads in Geneva history. A very special season has paid off."
