PITTSBURGH – The Geneva women's golf team won a tri-match against Carlow and Seton Hill on Saturday at Youghiogheny Country Club. The Golden Tornadoes beat Carlow 386-402, and Seton Hill 386-412.
Sophomore
Sabienea Winston cracked 90 for the first time this season with an 87. She ended up in a three-way tie for first place with Seton Hill's Lauren Barber and Heather Haas. For Winston, it is the seventh time that she has posted a top 10 score on Geneva's career low round individual scores.
Juniors
Anna Kaminski and
Hannah Therrell finished fifth and sixth in the field with scores of 92 and 93, respectively. Sophomore
Karlee Bittner rounded out the team scoring for the win.
Geneva returns to action at home on Monday, October 3 against Grove City.
