SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. --- The Geneva College women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Bill Lennox Invite hosted by Slippery Rock on Saturday morning. The Golden Tornadoes scored 133 points over the Lawrence County Fairgrounds course.
 
Sophomores Carmen Medvit and Hailey Carroll placed in the top 10 in the 6-kilometer race. Medvit finished second with a time of 21:52, while Carroll was eighth in 22:52. Madison Castro finished 20^th with a time of 23:45. Jordann Hicks was 50^th in a time of 25:40, followed by Catherine O'Donnell in 53^rd place in a time of 25:45.
 
The next competition for Geneva will be the 2023 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships. This year's race will be hosted by Thiel College on Saturday, October 28.
