PITTSBURGH – Sophomore
Kevin Arseneaux set a Geneva College record on Friday as members of the Golden Tornadoes men's track & field team competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
Arseneaux broke a 23-year old record in the 1,500 Meter Run with a winning time of 3:53.92. The previous record of 3:57.92 was held by Rob Edgar since 2000.
Junior
Noah Foust picked up two top-8 finishes on the first day of the two-day meet. Foust placed fifth in the Shot Put at 14.01 meters and sixth in the Hammer Throw with a toss of 39.13 meters.
Competition continues tomorrow with the Geneva squad split between the CMU Invitational and the Bethany Invitational.
