BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Geneva College women's tennis team played its first match of the semester inside Brady's Run Indoor Courts on Friday afternoon against a formidable Pitt-Greensburg squad that won its conference in the fall, and the Bobcats took the match 9-0. Geneva dropped to 6-6 overall, while Pitt-Greensburg improved to 12-1.
"We figured out why they won their conference this year," said Head Coach Mandee Craft. "They just very rarely miss shots. It was good to get to put a lot of our players in today, though, to get some more experience as we look ahead to next fall."
The women will have two more matches this spring. Next up is a match against Carlow on Wednesday at Blackhawk Courts. The match is slated to start at 6:00 p.m.
