BEAVER FALLS, Pa. --- Solid offense by the Geneva College women's soccer team led to a 4-0 victory over Thiel at Reeves Field on Saturday afternoon.
Junior
Emma Daku-Treas led the offense by collecting four points on two assists and a goal for Geneva. Her first assist came 17 minutes into action on a goal in front of the net by freshman
Tori Fregm, 1-0.
Geneva took a 2-0 lead into the half with a goal by sophomore
Anna Ulmer at 25:41. Ulmer headed the ball into the net off a corner kick by junior
Lillie Berryman.

Saige Musser found the back of the net at the 67-minute mark off a pass from Daku-Treas to put the Golden Tornadoes ahead, 3-0. Daku-Treas scored a goal of her own at 74:31 off a rebound block by Thiel's keeper to up Geneva's lead to 4-0.
The Geneva defense did not allow a Tomcat shot all game to give keepers
Jade Farnsworth and
Megan Bartley the combined shutout. The Golden Tornadoes start Presidents Athletic Conference 1-0 and improve to 2-4-1 overall.
The Golden Tornadoes return to action on Tuesday, September 26 for a 4 p.m. start at PAC foe Bethany.
