ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. --- The Geneva College women's golf team won the Geneva Fall Opener at Connoquenessing Country Club on Tuesday afternoon. The Golden Tornadoes shot a top 10 all-time score of 372 on the 5,894-yard, par 71 course.
Junior
Sabienea Winston earned the individual title with an 86, tying for fifth place on the Geneva low round record list. Seniors
Anna Kaminski and
Hannah Therrell shot 91 and 97 respectively, while junior
Karlee Bittner rounded out the team scoring with a 98.
Geneva returns to action on Monday, September 11, 1 p.m., at the Thiel College Invitational.
