Arseneaux Paces Men at SUNY Geneseo

GENESEO, N.Y.  – The Geneva College men's cross country team competed at the SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday morning, with senior Kevin Arseneaux pacing the men in a race with almost 500 participants from 33 schools.

Arseneaux placed 52nd overall with a time of 25:26.  Junior Tommy Corbin was next for Geneva, finishing with a time of 26:27, which put him in 126th place.

Geneva's next three runners were all tightly packed.  Freshman Nate Gray ran a strong race, finishing 173rd overall with a time of 26:54.  Juniors Karter Reath and Eli Eisenberger both finished just behind Gray, both with times of 26:58, with Reath finishing just ahead in 182nd place.

Geneva will take a week off next weekend before competing in the PAC Championship race on Saturday, November 2, at the Lawrence Country Fairgrounds on the same track the men ran their best race of the season in September.  Their championship race is scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m., shortly after the women's race is completed.
