Women’s Golf Defeats Carlow in Home Match

ELLWOOD, Pa. – The Geneva College women's golf team defeated Carlow on Monday afternoon on its home course, Connoquenessing Country Club, 387-452.  Bethany also had two members competing as individuals.  The score for the Golden Tornadoes was their best effort of the season.

Freshman Madison Sharek again led the way for the women, carding an 82, which was the top golfer of the 12 women competing.  Senior Karlee Bittner finished second overall with a 91, while senior Sabienea Winston carded a 93 for the third best score of the day.

The women will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to the Grove City Country Club to take part in the Grove City, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
