LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Geneva men's cross country competed at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic Saturday morning, running against 40 other schools from all levels of the NCAA at the meet hosted by Louisville University. The Golden Tornadoes finished in 19
th place as a team, with all seven of their participating runners finishing in the top 200 in a meet that featured 417 individual competitors.
Sophomore
Ethan Haring led the way for the men, taking 40
th place overall with a time of 25:57.0. The next four finishers for the men were all seniors, with
Karter Reath (26:15.8),
Eli Eisenberger (26:44.2),
Benjamin Perka (26:49.5), and
Tommy Corbin (26:55.6) all finishing in under 27 minutes. Reath took 73
rd place overall to join Haring in the top 100 runners.

Xaver Alexander also participated in the race for Geneva, running times of 27:16.1 and 27:23.7 to finish in the top 200.
The Golden Tornadoes are not in action again until Saturday, October 18
th, when they travel to Ohio to compete in the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble. That will be the final meet Geneva participates in before the PAC Championships in early November.
