BALTIMORE, Md. – The Geneva College women's lacrosse team wrapped up its Spring Break trip on Saturday with a road match at Goucher. The Golden Tornadoes couldn't get much offense going and lost 18-0.
Goucher controlled the first half, scoring ten goals in the first quarter and three more goals in the second quarter to take a 13-0 lead into the break.
The Golden Tornadoes couldn't find a break-through goal to get on the board in the second half and wrapped up the game scoreless.
Sophomore goalkeeper Lexi Lee made four saves in the game, while sophomore Miranda Sinsley led the team with two ground balls. Freshman Amanda Gillette had two caused turnovers, while junior Hannah Skwarek had three draw controls.
The women will have a week off before hosting Westminster next Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Wright Fields in Chippewa in the Presidents' Athletic Conference opener.
