BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – As has been the case in each of the last two seasons, Geneva College football will appear on Pittsburgh regional television multiple times in 2025, with KDKA continuing the coverage of Western Pennsylvania college football teams it has provided over the last few years. In addition to the coverage from KDKA, SportsNet Pittsburgh, where fans are used to watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins, will be broadcasting a Golden Tornado football game as well.
With the announcement earlier in the summer that head coach
Geno DeMarco will be stepping down from his position after this upcoming season, following a 33-year run as the head man on the Geneva sideline, fans can tune in to see his final season unfold.
Last season, Geneva had three games broadcast by KDKA, including a dominant 21-6 victory over Thiel at home. This year, the Golden Tornadoes will split their two TV appearances home and away, facing off against Grove City at Reeves Field before traveling to Waynesburg for their second game of regional coverage.

The Wolverines were ranked in the Top 25 every week of the 2024 season, and they open 2025 as the No. 23-ranked team in NCAA Division III, according to D3football.com.
KDKA will broadcast Geneva's contest against Waynesburg on October 18

However, the GTs have defeated the Yellow Jackets in five of their last six meetings, including a 33-6 victory in the final week of 2024 to clinch Geneva's first .500 season since the 2013 season.
