Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Women’s Lacrosse Stopped by Buffalo State

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Geneva College women's lacrosse team faced possibly the toughest team on its 2026 schedule in Buffalo State at home on Saturday afternoon at Wright Fields, and the Bengals led from start to finish in a 22-0 shutout of the Golden Tornadoes.

Junior Lexi Lee made eight saves for the women in goal in just one half of play, as freshman Anarosa Cunningham took over in goal for the second half to get her first collegiate experience in front of the net.  Geneva was unable to register a shot in the match.  Lee led the team with three groundballs, while sophomore Alyse Smith added two draw controls.

After three straight matches at home, the women will play their next six matches on the road, beginning with a contest at Muskingum on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
