Women’s Lacrosse Opens PAC Play at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Geneva College women's lacrosse team had a tough assignment in its opening match of Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Wednesday night, traveling to face PAC favorite Grove City, and the Wolverines controlled the match in winning 22-0.

Despite the final scoreline, junior Lexi Lee had a big night in net for the Golden Tornadoes, making a career high 19 saves to keep the match from being even more lopsided.  Geneva managed just three shots total, two from junior Mara Fowlow.

The women were not done any favors by the schedule makers as Geneva heads back out on the road for its next match on Saturday when the women take on Westminster, who is also considered one of the stronger teams in the PAC.  The match is slated to start at 1:00 p.m.
