PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Geneva College men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up their competition at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday, with several Golden Tornadoes deciding to sit out the day due to the cold temperatures rather than risk a potential injury. Geneva had a big day on Friday of the meet, with seniors Hailey Carroll and Allison Standish breaking school records on the first day of the invitational.
On Saturday, the top finisher for the Golden Tornadoes was senior Emily Garvin, who placed third in the javelin with a toss of 34.94 meters.
