BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Geneva College women's soccer team scored early and often against the visiting Saint Vincent Bearcats on its way to a commanding 3-0 victory on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day. Geneva improved to 7-6 overall, 2-2 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while Saint Vincent fell to 1-11, 1-3 in the PAC.
Prior to the game, Geneva recognized its four seniors on this year's team,

Junior

"It was important to get back into the win column, especially on Senior Day," said Head Coach
Linda Sumner. "Our offense really played well today, and we jumped on them early and never let up. We don't have a lot of margin for error the rest of the season, so every game is really important from here on out."
Geneva finished with a 27-8 edge in shots, including a 17-3 advantage in shots on goal. Beare and Sumner each finished with five shots. Lincoln made three saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season.
Geneva next heads to Bethany on Wednesday for a 4:00 p.m. match.
