PITTSBURGH, Pa. --- The Geneva men's cross country team continued to get some good racing in this season competing in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Golden Tornadoes scored 249 points and ran strongly as a pack in the 8,000-meter race. Freshman
Eli Eisenberger was the top finisher for Geneva with a time of 27:59.0. The pack followed quickly as
Josiah Helmer ran a 28:06.4 and
Jordan Stack ran 28:16.6.
Kevin Arseneaux and
Karter Reath crossed the line at the same time, 28:24.6. Arseneaux made it back to campus in time to serve as the Sophomore Class Representative on the Geneva Homecoming Court.
Geneva will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, October 15 at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.
