Arseneaux Named PAC SAAC Scholar Athlete for November

TRAFFORD, Pa. – Geneva College senior Kevin Arseneaux was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Male Scholar-Athlete for the month of November on Wednesday morning.

Each month, the SAAC groups at each PAC school nominate one male and one female student-athlete for consideration for that month's honor.  Nominees must be at least a junior academically, must have a GPA of at least 3.0, and they must be actively involved within their campus community.

Arseneaux is a very deserving honoree.  He's put together one of the best running careers in Geneva College history, both in cross country and in track and field.

Arseneaux just wrapped up his cross country career last month, becoming the first Geneva men's runner to qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships.  He also became the first Golden Tornado to win the individual PAC Championship last year, and he's a four-time First-Team All-PAC honoree.

Arseneaux has been just as impressive on the track where he now owns four different individual records in program history.

Arseneaux has also excelled in the classroom where he maintains a 3.73 GPA while studying Social Studies Education, earning academic honors from the PAC, the College Sport Communicators and the USTFCCCA.

In addition to those things, Arseneaux also serves his community as a SAAC representative, a Sunday School teacher at the College Hill Reformed Church, and as a counselor at Pine Valley Bible Camp.

Through purposeful learning in a community reflecting the full spectrum of God's kingdom, a Geneva College experience inspires students to discover a faith-life calling in service to God and neighbor. Offering 195+ traditional undergraduate majors and programs, fully online Adult Degree Programs and high-demand graduate degrees, Geneva's programs are recognized for their high quality and affordability.
