NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio — The Geneva men's golf team won the Golden Eagle Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Oak Shadows Golf Club. The Golden Tornadoes won 336-347 over the host Kent State Tuscarawas.
Geneva's 336 ranks fifth on the Golden Tornado all-time low team score list.
Junior
Jacob DeLisio shot the lowest score of the day for Geneva with an 80 for second place on the individual leaderboard. The score matches his career low mark at Geneva and sits tied for third on the Geneva low round individual scores list.
Freshman
Austin Goehring continues to finish among the top scorers on the team early in his collegiate career. Goehring finished third with an 83.
Senior
Trent Belleville and sophomore
Timothy Ehko rounded out the scoring for the team shooting 86 and 87 respectively.
Geneva's next competition is scheduled for Thursday, September 29 at the Saint Vincent Invitational.
