LORETTO, Pa. – Two golfers from the Geneva men's program traveled to Saint Francis yesterday, with freshman
Chris Brown and senior
Ryan Edwards each competing in the Red Flash Invitational. The tournament took place across two days, featuring one 18-hole round each day, with the scores from both rounds combined to tally up the final leaderboard.
Brown tied for 19
th place overall in the 59-golfer field, carding an 81 on day one before shooting a 76 on the second day. He recorded three birdies over the course of both rounds, registering two on the first day and one on the second. Edwards shot an 81 on the first day as well, improving slightly with a score of 80 in his second round of the tournament. He tied for 33
rd place overall.
Both Brown and Edwards, as well as the rest of the men's golf team, will now set their sights on the PAC Fall Championships, which begin next Monday, October 12, at 10:30 a.m. Day one will take place on Monday, with the second day of the Fall Championships taking place on Tuesday.
