Brown Wins Second Straight PAC Weekly Golf Honor

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – It's been quite the start to freshman Chris Brown's men's golf career at Geneva, and on Tuesday he was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Golf Newcomer of the Week for the second straight time to start the season.

This past week Brown and senior Ryan Edwards competed at the Malone Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday.  Brown was very consistent over his two rounds, carding a 77 on each day.  He finished with five birdies over his two rounds and finished in a tie for 24th overall, out of 54 golfers.  His total was one of the better scores among the Division III golfers competing.

Brown and the men's and women's team competed at the Waynesburg Jacket Tri-Valley Classic on Tuesday and will return to action on Monday at the Saint Vincent Invitational at the Latrobe Country Club.
