BOARDMAN, Ohio – Junior Ryan Edwards finished his standout season with his best career round on Saturday on the final day of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Golf Championships, carding the top score of the 50 golfers in competition at the Mill Creek Golf Course, which moved him into the top ten of the final championship standings.
Edwards finished his round with a 1-over 71, posting two birdies and three bogeys. That was one stroke better than anyone else on Saturday. That closed his four-round PAC Championship total at 307, which was tied for ninth place overall and earned him Second Team All-PAC honors. His round was also the second-best score in program history.
Senior Austin Goehring wrapped up his strong career for the Golden Tornadoes by shooting an impressive 74, which was a top ten score on the afternoon. That put him in 20th place for the four-round championship tournament with a 317.
Sophomore Linkoln Gundacker and junior Owen Bouscher rounded out the top four for Geneva, finishing 34th and 36th overall at the championships.
