BOARDMAN, Ohio – Junior Ryan Edwards is sitting in 17th place after round three of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Golf Championships on Friday, hosted at the Mill Creek Golf Course, the highest for any Golden Tornado competing. A total of 36 golfers head into the final round on Saturday having completed the first three rounds.
The first two rounds of the PAC Championships were completed at the end of the fall season, and the final two rounds are played at the end of the spring season. Edwards carded a 77 on Friday, with one birdie. Senior Austin Goehring shot an 82, with one birdie, while sophomore Linkoln Gundacker entered the clubhouse with an 86 and sophomore Samuel Palombia an 88. Junior Owen Bouscher rounded out the top five with a 91.
With a strong round on Saturday, Edwards could climb into the top ten of the final standings. Goehring is sitting in 22nd place overall, seven strokes behind Edwards.
The final round will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday on the South Course of the Mill Creek Golf Club.
