YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Geneva recorded several top performances for the men's track & field team on Friday evening at the Youngstown State Collegiate Invitational. Today's meet featured a mix of over 30 teams representing NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA from across the region.
Freshman
Eli Eisenberger finished 12
th overall in the 5,000 Meter Run with a time of 15:54.73, the best time of his young collegiate career. Several other Golden Tornadoes set collegiate personal bests throughout the meet.
Senior
Jack Garvin placed 13
th in the High Jump with a leap of 1.81 meters. Sophomore
Noah Foust competed well in the throws placing 18
th in the weight throw with a toss of 13.65 meters and 22
nd in the shot put with a heave of 12.90 meters.
Geneva will return to YSU next week for the third time this season for the YSU College Mid Major meet on Friday and Saturday, January 27-28.
