YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Several men's track and field athletes set personal records over the two days of the Youngstown State Mid-Major Invitational.
Senior
Jack Garvin leaped a personal-best 1.94 meters in the High Jump to finish seventh overall in the Saturday event. He was .02 meters off of the Geneva record of 1.96 meter held by Josh Abebe (1998).
Sophomore
Noah Foust set a personal-best and team season-high in the Weight Throw on Friday with a toss of 13.72 meters for 15
th place. On Saturday, he placed 18
th in the Shot Put with a throw of 13.58 meters.
On Friday, junior
Josh Blessing set an indoor personal record and a team season-high in the Long Jump at 6.04 meters.
Geneva returns to competition on Saturday, February 4, at Mount Union, the final prep before the NCCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 10-11.
