CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Geneva men's track & field team placed 11
th overall at the 2023 NCCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at Cedarville University on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Tornadoes scored 26.50 points over the two-day event.
Sophomore
Kevin Arseneaux scored 14 points for Geneva. He was the national runner-up in the 800 Meter Run in a time of 1:57.85 and placed third in the 1 Mile Run with a time of 4:13.32. His 1 Mile time is a new Geneva record, passing his old mark of 4:24.24.
In field events, sophomore
Noah Foust and senior
Giovanni Segura placed fifth and seventh in the Shot Put. Foust threw a distance of 13.44 meters, while Segura's shot landed at 13.26 meters.
The Golden Tornadoes have one final warm-up meet before the 2023 PAC Championships on Friday, February 17 at the Muskingum Meet. Competition on the campus of Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio will begin at 11 a.m.
