ALLIANCE, Ohio – Sophomore Kevin Arseneaux and senior Jack Garvin set new Geneva men's track and field standards, while other Golden Tornadoes produced several key performances at the Mount Union Wuske Open on Saturday in Alliance, Ohio.

Garvin, who has already qualified for the NCCAA national championship meet, set a new Geneva record with a leap of 1.97 meters in the High Jump. Garvin surpassed the previous mark of 1.96 meters set 25 years ago by Josh Abebe (1998).

Arseneaux ran a new Geneva 3,000 Meter Run record time of 8:39.40. The previous record set by Josh Duffie in 2019 was 8:43.12.

Senior Giovanni Segura hit a new personal best in the Shot Put with a throw of 13.73 meters, while sophomore Noah Foust set a personal best in the Weight Throw with a toss of 14.44 meters.

Select members of the team will compete in the National Christian Collegiate Athletics Association (NCCAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships on February 10-11 at Cedarville University in Ohio.
