SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Geneva College men's and women's track and field teams had their last meet on Thursday afternoon at Slippery Rock before the teams head to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships next week. A limited number of participants enjoyed a beautiful afternoon to compete at the John Papa Invitational.

Gabe Trexler brought home a second-place finish with a time of 42.71 seconds.
Junior
Noah Foust had a strong day in the throws, bringing home three top ten finishes. He placed sixth in the discus with a toss of 42.77 meters. He finished ninth in the hammer throw with a throw of 38.50 meters, and he tied for tenth with senior teammate
Giovanni Segura in the shot put with a distance of 13.54 meters.
Senior
Jack Garvin finished seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.90 meters, and he placed eighth in the javelin with a throw of 48.94 meters.
For the women, sophomore
Madison Castro placed fourth in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:24.65. Freshman
Allison Standish also brought home a fourth-place finish with a throw of 41.97 meters in the hammer throw. Standish also placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 11.27 meters.

Carmen Medvit are planning to run at Ohio State on Friday. The PAC Championships will be held at West Virginia University next Thursday and Friday.
