BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Geneva College junior David Toruno was honored by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) on Tuesday afternoon when he was named as a First Team All-PAC selection for his work at second base this season.

This is the second straight season Toruno has received All-PAC honors after receiving Honorable Mention recognition last season.  He led the Golden Tornadoes this season with a .369 batting average while also finishing with team highs in hits (52), runs (33), doubles (12), triples (3), RBIs (27) and stolen bases (14).  His On-Base Percentage of .451 was also tops on the team, while his three home runs tied for the lead with freshman Kirk Bearjar.  Toruno also finished in the top ten in a number of those categories in the PAC.

Junior Tim Hermansen was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team after hitting .311 with 20 runs, 12 RBIs and 11 stolen bases.
